Decatur Indiana Newborn and Child Photographer – Aryah’s Mermaid {Cake Smash}

To put into words how much Aryah loved her cake is impossible. As soon as we sat her behind the cake, her mommy had to grab her hands to keep her from getting into it before I had my camera in hand. As soon as mommy let go, there was no stopping this little girl!

One of my personal favorite parts of cake smashes is when baby put his/her head in the cake… and Aryah did it like a pro! And once she did that, it didn’t take any time at all for her to have that beautiful cake torn to pieces all over herself and the floor. She did eat quite a bit to!

She made the biggest mess and had a complete blast! Which is exactly the reason why doing a cake smash is so much fun. Not only is it fun, but mom and dad doesn’t have to clean up the mess… unless frosting gets on them. Aryah’s mommy got pretty lucky with being able to stay nice and clean.

Her mermaid theme came together perfectly with the amazing cake her mommy had made by a local baker, and that super girly pink and white tutu!

All of Aryah’s smiles are nothing less than adorable, and you can see exactly how much she enjoyed herself. Seriously, check out all of this cuteness!

The headband, necklace and cake stand are available for use in the studio. All props were made by me.
